WHAT IS LAZYMAN OXFORD

Speaking of the "lazyman" shoe, my mind immediately goes to the renowned brand George Cleverley. This is a label that elevates luxury to new heights and, interestingly, was also the brains behind the creation of the much-loved "lazyman" shoe. You might even find it amusing that GC boldly named the shoe "Churchill" right on their official website.

Back in World War II, Sir Winston Churchill himself requested that George Cleverley design a shoe that would cater to his unique needs. He wanted a shoe that didn't require tying laces due to his stature and one that allowed him to move quickly while avoiding war bombings. Well, George Cleverley delivered!

Not only did the shoe meet Sir Churchill's demands, but it also solved a common problem many people face: the struggle of closing the shoe collar due to wider feet. The elastic band design not only made it easier to slip on and off, but it also reduced the pressure on the instep compared to traditional lace-up shoes.

It's fascinating to note that in some of the most significant moments in history, Sir Churchill chose to wear these "lazyman" shoes. Their popularity among gentlemen is no doubt due to their perfect blend of the casual ease of loafers and the formal elegance of Oxford shoes.

From the moment this shoe hit the market, it was destined to become a favorite among the gentlemen. Its practicality, versatility, and timeless style are a testament to George Cleverley's impeccable craftsmanship and understanding of the modern gentleman's needs.
